All courses are run Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm at our studio in Norwood, South Australia.
Students may select to attend any number of weeks (from one week to four weeks). The prices displayed below for the second and each subsequent week reduce by 10%. These discounts also apply to returning students.
Returning students are welcome to attend any of the available weeks if numbers permit, and will be able to do a mix of revision and new exercises as needed; please enquire.
Beginner students must complete beginner exercises in order of difficulty, however students who complete tasks early will be offered more advanced exercises. Your time is precious and we want you to learn as much as you can while you're here.
Fees must be paid in full within 7 days of your booking being confirmed, unless otherwise arranged.
Due to the limited number of positions available, fees are generally non-refundable. In cases of unforeseeable illness or hardship, a credit or refund may be offered at our discretion.
Our courses are designed specifically for jewellery industry professionals. All applicants must therefore have:
- Experience with professional jewellery making.
- Access to a jeweller's or setter's bench with microscope and power assist (or plans to get these after the course - we can give advice and recommendations any time).

Your first week here
$3100 AUD*
For all new students to Standout Stonesetting in-person training. This is usually the Beginner course, but may include some Intermediate exercises for students with prior experience.
Your second week here
$2790 AUD*
For continuing or returning students. This is usually the Intermediate content, or a mix of exercises to suit you.
Your third week here
$2480 AUD*
For continuing or returning students. This is usually the Advanced content, or a mix of exercises to suit you.
Your fourth week here
$2170 AUD*
For continuing or returning students. This may be any mix of practice or new exercises to suit you.
